This interactive event will feature working professionals such as myself, as we share the paths taken to get to our current careers while sharing how critical writing skills were in attaining our successes.

NSBE has long recognized public speaking as an integral component of professional success in the field of engineering, and will be hosting the inaugural Speak Your Fire Oratorical Competition at the 41st annual convention.

Members from across the country will be given the opportunity to express their thoughts on various topics pertaining to NSBE using the theme “Innovation & Excellence: Reimagining Your Future”.

A little about Working Wardrobes (“WW”):

WW is a non profit which aides men, women, and young adults with challenging backgrounds in confidently entering the workforce by providing wardrobe services, career training, and job placement assistance. Every year, Working Wardobes serves over 5,000 clients stemming from a wide variety of challenges, including welfare-to-work, alcohol & substance abuse, domestic violence, transitional homelessness, and catastrophic illness.
